Three Strengths

(1) Hardware

CH Biotech Coffee Center, from variety to cup, is really one-of-a-kind whole range coffee education and research center in the world!

SCA Certificated Classrooms
Good craftsmanship depends on the use of right tools. Our Sensory & Brewing Lab, Barista Lab, Roasting Lab already certified by Specialty Coffee Association, and Processing Lab, are all in the services of our students. Each classroom is more than 300 square meters and has thoughtfully been designed using colors, lighting and décor to provide students with a spacious and professional classroom environment, enabling students to obtain hands-on experience so they can put their theoretical knowledge to practical use.

(2) Faculty line-up

With all these advanced facilities, we need more teachers proficient in theory and hands-on practice to help students to get twice the results with half the effort to obtain relevant certificates through the exam.
We adopt a diversified faculty policy, and employ teachers who have many years of teaching experiences at home and abroad, or have ever won major coffee competition awards. The same subject, in different periods,
may be taught by different teachers for the students to choose.

(3) Coffee Garden

There are over 120 species of Coffea, of which only Coffea liberica, Coffea robusta, and Coffea arabica have the value of commercial cultivation.
Our coffee garden has planted 87 coffee trees including 4 Coffea liberica, 3 Coffea robusta, and 80 Coffea arabica.

There are 9 varieties of Arabica in our coffee garden, such as SL34, Typica, Yellow Bourbon, Pacas, Villas archi, Purpurascens, Geisha, Yellow and Red Caturra.
Walking into the garden, you can observe and compare the different traits of each species or variety, such as the height of the tree, the length of the internode, the color of the tip, the yield and so on.
In addition to the theoretical and practical seminar, the students can also get close to the coffee tree and enhance their knowledge.
